Tahapkedua, pengukurannilairetensi nitrogen danenergimetabolisLINKOFER(An)produkolahanpilihanpenelitiantahappertama, bertujuanuntukmenentukankualitasproduk. Penelitiantahapketiga, ujiransum, bertujuanuntukmenetapkanbesaranpenggunaanLINKOFER(An) yang optimal melaluipengukuranterhadapperformanproduksidankualitastelurpuyuh. Penelitiandenganmenggunakanmetodeeksperimen di laboratoriumdenganrancanganacaklengkaptersarang, yaitu :Faktor A adalahdosisinokulumkapangAspergillusniger (0,4; 0,6; dan 0,8%), Faktor B adalahwaktufermentasi (2dan3hari), masing-masingperlakuandiulangsebanyaktiga kali. Faktor B tersarangpadafaktor A. PengaruhantarperlakuandiujidengananalisisragamdandilanjutkanujijarakbergandaDuncan.Penelitiantahapkeduadianalisisdenganmenggunakanuji t-student. PenelitiantahapketigamenggunakanRancanganAcakLengkapenamperlakuanLINKOFER(An) (0,3,6,9,12, dan 15%dalamransum), masing-masingdiulangsebanyaktiga kali. Ujistatistikdilakukandengansidikragam, perbedaanpengaruhantarperlakuandilanjutkanujijarakberganda Duncan. Hasilpenelitianpadatahappertamadiperolehbahwalimbahkulit kopi terfermentasidenganAspergillusnigerdosis 0,8%selama3harimenghasilkanpeningkatankandungan protein kasardari5,63%menjadi8,79%, penurunankandunganseratkasardari 26,7%menjadi10,68%, danpenurunanlemakkasardari3,43% menjadi 2,69%. Produk LINKOFER(An)memilikinilairetensi nitrogen 84,71%danenergimetabolis 1937,47kkal/kg, sertapenggunaan LINKOFER(An)padatingkat 6%dalamransummemberikanperformanproduksiterbaik(konsumsiransum: 21,89 g/ekor/hari; umur dewasa kelamin: 56 hari; bobot badan dewasa kelamin: 181,50 g/ekor; bobot telur: 10,10 g/butir; produksi quail day: 43,58%; dan konversi ransum: 5,03),dankualitastelurterbaik(tebal kerabang: 0,186 mm; HU unit: 89,96;dan intensitas warnakuning telur≥8).

    ABSTRACT

    This research has been conducted at the Laboratory of Poultry Nutrition, Non-Ruminant and Feed Industry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry UniversitasPadjadjaranJatinangor - Sumedang. Study has been carried out in three phases: The first phase, coffee pulp fermentation by Aspergillusniger, using the nestedrandomized complete design, two factor: A= (Aspergillusniger inoculum dose d1=0,4;d2= 0,6; and d3 = 0,8%) factor B = (fermentation time, w1 = 2 and w2 = 3 days) in 6 treatments : (d1w1, d1w2, d2w1, d2w2, d3w1 and d3w2), aiming to produce LINKOFER(An) as an alternative feed ingredients mixed ration laying quail. The second stage, measurements of nitrogen retention value and metabolizable energy of thefermented coffee pulp (LINKOFER(An)) and non-fermented coffee pulp, aiming to determine the quality of the LINKOFER(An), the data analysis using ''t- student test''. The third phase of the research, feeding trail, aims to determine the effect of using LINKOFER(An) different levelsof layer quail performance and eggs quality, using a completely randomized design CRD divided to six treatments LINKOFER(An) (3.0,6.0,9.0,12.0, and 15.0 percent in the ration), each repeated three times. Statistical test performed by analysis of variance, the difference between treatments followed by Duncan's multiple range test. The results of the research in the first phase found that coffee pulp fermented by Aspergillusniger0.8% dose for 3 days showed an increase in the crude protein content of 5.63% to 8.79%, a decrease in crude fiber content of 26.7% become 10.68%, and fat loss from the rough 3.43% become2.69%. LINKOFER(An) product has value 84.71% nitrogen retention and 1937,47 kcal/kg metabolizable energy, and the use LINKOFER(An)6% level in the ration provides the best performance of production (feed consumption: 21.89 g/bird/day; age maturity: 56 day; maturity body weight: 181.50 g/bird; egg weight: 10.10 g/egg; production of quail day: 43.58%; and feed conversion: 5.03),) and the egg quality (shell thickness: 0.186 mm; HU unit: 89.96;and the egg yolk colour score ≥8).In conclusion, the study showed that the fermentation of coffee pulp byAspergillusniger0.8% at 3 days LINKOFER(An)it canaffect significantly on increase crude protein and decrease it is crude fiber and crude fat. Also the study concluded thatLINKOFER(An)up to 6% dietary levels can be used as an alternative ingredient in the layer Japanese quail diets without serious adverse effects on performance and egg quality.
