• ABSTRAK Terapi lintah merupakan salah satu pengobatan tadisional yang sudah banyak dipercaya masyarakat dan terbukti dapat menyembuhkan berbagai macam penyakit.Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur merupakan salah satu klinik pengobatan tradisional yang menyediakan layanan terapilintah dan telah banyak menangani pasienyang berasal dari dalam maupun dari luar Kabupaten Cianjur.Dalam kegiatan terapi lintah, literasi informasi dibutuhkan agar pasien terapi lintah dapat mengetahui pengobatan seperti apa yang mereka jalani serta dimana tempat mereka melakukan pengobatan tersebut. Informasi disinijugaberperan sangat penting dalam membangun kepercayaan sertaeksistensi terapi lintah dan Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola literasi informasi kesehatan terapi lintah di Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah pasien terapi lintah di Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, sertastudi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa pola yang menunjukan proses literasi informasi kesehatan terapi lintah yang terjadi pada pasien terapi lintah di Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses literasi informasi kesehatan terapi lintah diawali dari adanya masalah kesehatan yang dihadapi pasien terapi lintah, lalu dilakukan pemeriksaan diri, setelah itu mereka merasa membutuhkan pengobatan sebagai solusi, lalu munculah kebutuhan informasi mengenai pengobatan yang cocok untuk penyakit mereka, selanjutnya mereka menentukan sumber informasi, lalumereka melakukanpencarian informasi, setelah itu ditemukanlah informasi bahwa terapi lintah merupakan pengobatan yang cocok untuk masalah kesehatan yang sedang mereka hadapi, setelah itudilakukan pencarian informasi tambahan mengenai terapi lintah, selanjutnya mereka memutuskan untuk melakukan terapi lintah, lalu mereka melakukan evaluasi informasi, dan yang terakhir dilakukan penyebaran informasi.Kata kunci: literasi informasi, literasi kesehatan, terapi lintah. vABSTRACTLeech therapy is one of the traditional treatments that have been trusted by the public and proven to cure various diseases. Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur is one of the traditional medical clinics that provides leech therapy services and has handled manypatients who come from inside and outside Cianjur Regency. In leech therapy activities, informationliteracy is needed so leech therapy patients can find out what kind of treatment they are undergoing and where they do the treatment. The information here also plays a very important role in building the trust and existence of leech therapy and Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur. The purpose of this study was to determine the health informationliteracy pattern of leech therapy at Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were leech therapy patients at Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur. Data obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. The results of thisstudy are in the form of a pattern that shows the health information literacy process of leech therapy that occurs in leech therapy patients at Rumah Sehat BRC Cianjur. The results showed that the health information literacy process begins with the health problems faced by leech therapy patients, then self-examination, and thenthey feel that they need a treatment as a solution, then there arises the need for information about suitable treatment for their disease, then they determine source of information, then they search for information, after that information is found that leech therapy is a suitable treatment for the health problems they are facing, after that they search for additional information about leech therapy, then they decide to do leech therapy, then they do an evaluation information, and the last is information dissemination.Keywords: information literacy, health literacy, leech therapy
