• ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang Depok Corner sebagai sumber informasi local content kota Depok . tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat bagaimana nilai informasi yang terdapat pada Depok Corner.Fokus dari penelitian ini membahas nilai informasi yang terdiri atas keanekaragaman isiinformasi yang terdapat di Depok Corner, lalu bagaimana penyajian informasi Depok Cornerdan bagaimana kegiatan serta frekuensi updating koleksi juga kendala pelaksanaan Depok Cornersecara umum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melaluiwawancara tidak terstruktur, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini juga didukung dengan triangulasi oleh staff koleksi khusus di DISPUSIPDA Jawa Barat. Adapun yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah nilai informasi koleksi Depok Corner pada Perpustakaan umum kota Depok sebagai sumber informasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 3 orang narasumber. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyajianinformasi pada di koleksi Depok Corner cukup luas dan beragam serta masih dapat berkembang. Untuk isi informasi,isi informasi yang terdapat di Depok Corneradalah data mengenai kota Depok,seperti sejarah, dan statistik kota Depok. lalu untuk updating, dilakukan setahun sekali melalui kerjasama dan pembelian. Ada juga melalui sumbangan. Kendala yang muncul adalah koleksi yang langka sehingga sulit untuk ditemukan. Dan untuk kendala secara umum, Depok Cornermemiliki ruangan yang terbatas.Kata Kunci : Local Content, Perpustakaan Umum, nilai informasi, isiinformasi, penyajian informasi, updatingkoleksi. vABTRACTThis research isto discussabout Depok Corner as the local content information source in DepokThe purpose of this researchis to see how the value of information contained in Depok Corner. The focus of this research is the topicof "value of information"which consist thediversity of information contained in Depok Corner, then how the information served, and how the activitesand frequency of updating collections as well as the obstacles in general in Depok Corner. The research method usesqualitativemethodwith a case-study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through unstructured interviews, observation and documentation studies. This research is also supported with triangulation byspecial collection staff on DISPUSIPDA Jawa Barat.the object of this research is the value of information of Depok Corner collection tn Depok Public Library as a source of information the The subjects consisted of 3 persons interviewees. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the presentationof information in Depok Corner is quite wide and variedand still growing.. The information content is all information about Depok such as history and statistic of Depok. Then for updating, carried out once through cooperation and purchasing. There are also donations. The obstacle are that Depok Corner collection are rare collection so it is quite hard to find. And for obstacles in general.
