• ABSTRAK Perpustakaan khusus milik PT Kereta Api Indonesia memiliki koleksi perkeretaapian yanglengkap. Tetapi dalam mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan terdapat kendala yaitu tidakpraktisnya dalam mencari informasi. Maka dibutuhkan sarana pengendalian informasi yaitubibliografi beranotasi perkeretaapian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengumpulkan sumberinformasi Perkeretaapian, mengetahui proses penyeleksian sumber informasi, mengetahui aturanentri data, mengetahui proses pembuatan anotasi dan kata kunci, mengetahui proses penyusunanindeks, mengetahui proses pembuatan layout naskah, dan mengetahui proses pemeriksaan naskahakhir bibliografi beranotasi perkeretaapian. Penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Carol C. Kuhlthauyaitu Information Search Process. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif actionresearch. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tahap pengumpulan sumber informasiperkeretaapian peneliti mengumpulkan buku dengan nomor klasifikasi 385, 625.1, dan 625.2.Tahap penyeleksian sumber informasi adalah dengan mengelompokkan koleksi yang adaberdasarkan waktu terbitnya. Tahap entri data adalah menggunakan aturan AACR2 dan jugamenggunakan sistem klasifikasi DDC 23.Tahap pembuatan anotasi adalah dengan caramembaca bagian belakang cover, kata pengantar, prolog, atau sebagian buku. Pembuatan katakunci adalah dengan menetapkan kata yang mewakili isi buku dengan maksimal empat kata.Tahap penyusunan indeks adalah disusun berdasarkan abjad dan pembuatan layout naskah adalahdengan memastikan tata letak dapat nyaman dibaca sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku. Tahappemeriksaan naskah akhir adalah memastikan tidak ada kesalahan penulisan. Kesimpulannyaadalah sudah baik hanya terdapat beberapa koreksi yaitu kurang lengkapnya keteranganpenyusun dan tulisan pada bagian klasifikasi yang terlalu kecil. Dengan adanya siklus II akhirnyabibliografi beranotasi dapat diterima dengan baik dan melebihi presentase keberhasilan yaitu77%. kata kunci: anotasi, bibliografi, perkeretaapian ABSTRACTA special library under the property of PT Kereta Api Indonesia has a complete monorail collection. However, inorder to look for the needed information, there is a slight problem which is the unpractical method of getting theinformation. Thus, an informational control media such as annotated railroad bibliography is needed. The purposeof this research is to collect the source of railroad information, to understand the process of selecting source ofinformation, to understand regulation to entry data, to understand the process of making annotation and keyword, tounderstand the process of index arrangement, to understand the process of making script layout, and to understandthe process of checking final script of annotated railroad bibliography. This research refers to Carol C. Kuhlthautheory that is Information Search Process. The method is using the qualitative action research. The conclusion ofthis research is in the phase of collection of the railroad source of information, the researcher collects books withclassification number 385,625.1 and 625.2. The selection phase for the source of information is to classify theexisting collection based on its time of publication. The entry phase is to use the AACR2 regulation and to use theclassification system DDC 23. The annotation-making phase is by reading the back of the cover, introduction,prologue or some part of the book. The keyword-making is by setting the right word which represents the content ofthe book with the maximum of four words. The index arrangement phase is arranged by the alphabet and themaking of script layout is by ensuring layout so that it may be pleasant to read in accordance with the applicableprovision. The final script check is to ensure nothing is wrong with the writings. The conclusion is that it is better,there are only a few corrections that is the description of the author is less complete and the font size in theclassification part is too small. With the presence of II cycle at last, the annotated bibliography can be accepted wellenough and surpass the 77% success rate.Keyword: Annotated, Bibliography, Railways
