• The corner of the lips is the meeting point of lateral aspects of the upper and lower lip vermillion. This goal of this research is to find out whether there is a difference of width corner of the lip�s when smiling among different races in Malaysia which are Malay and Chinese in Padjadjaran University. The method used for this research was analytical cross- sectional approach. Stratified random sampling technique was used to determine the sample size from the total population of Malaysian female Malay and Chinese studying in Faculty of Dentistry of Padjadjaran University. The data was analyzed using Mann- Whitney test and Shapiro-Wilk test. The result shows that there is a difference in the width corner of the lips when smiling between Malaysian female Malay and Chinese students. In conclusion, there is difference in the width corner of the lips when smiling between Malaysian female Malay and Chinese students.
