  • Anterior facial height plays an important role in vertical pattern of facial growth. Anterior facial height that consist of upper anterior facial height (UAFH), lower anterior facial height (LAFH) and total anterior facial height (TAFH) grow accordingly based on age and gender. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of anterior facial height on Deutero-Malay patients in RSGM UNPAD with cephalometric radiograph. The method used on this research was a descriptive research with secondary data collected by using purposive sampling technique from May 2018 until June 2018. There were 131 cephalometric radiographs taken from Department of Dentomaxilofacial Radiology at RSGM UNPAD, 66 were females and 65 were males, measurements were taken by using EzImplant software. From the result, average of UAFH for males was 49.59 mm (≤13), 53.80 mm (14-16) and 57.11 mm (≥17). While the average of LAFH for males was 55.34 mm (≤13), 64.74 mm (14-16) and 70.25 mm (≥17). Average of TAFH for males was 104.94 mm (≤13), 118.54 mm (14-16) and 127.44 mm (≥17). As for females, the average of UAFH was 47.38 mm (≤11), 53.25 mm (12-14) and 53.44 mm (≥15). While the average of LAFH for females was 54.70 mm (≤11), 58.03 mm (12-14) and 59.55 mm (≥15). Average of TAFH for females was 102.08 mm (≤11), 110.99 mm (12-14) and 112.99 mm (≥15). In conclusion, anterior facial height increases along with age and the measurement of height are higher in males than in females. The largest growth occurred during growth spurt phase at the age of 14-16 years for males and 12-14 years for females
