Communication Experience and Motive of Path's Social Network Users)
Ahmad Fauzan, 210120130020. The presence of social networking
presents a portrait of society where people generally have a predilection to create
activities that want to be known by others (self-existence). Social networking Path
provides a wider range of features designed to actualize themselves with the
people, causing a desire to perceive themselves, play a role in building self
image, by uploading events, thoughts and feelings through its users.
This study aims to determine the meaning of the social network Path
themselves through self-image, the user communications experience and motive
Path in constructing the image of him on social networking Path. The method
used in this study is a qualitative research method with phenomenological
approach.
The results showed that the diversity of self-image is essentially formed
through experience, knowledge, and feelings, judgments from the other party on
social network Path shaping its image displayed. Path user communication
experience with the environment demonstrated through various location features,
photos, songs, status. Interaction is built through the use of e'!'lOticons and
comments indicate that users Path shows attention to get the same attention. Motif
use Path as a source of information, identitasi personal and the search for
identity, done to get your attention and understand the personality of other users
and personal so many of them present themselves is by mutual imitate the things
that are considered ideal for its users to get a better impression or positive.
