• This title of the research is “Management of Pangandaran Tourism (Study about efforts of the Department of Tourism Industry Trade Cooperatives and UMKM District Pangandaran on the west coast of Pangandaran area in 2012-2014).” Background in this research is about management of tourism in Pangandaran west coast already not well after the expansion area. Pangandaran has complete tourism and easy access which have the power, especially for tourism activity. Therefore infrastructure and service in this district should be adequate and support for activity tourism in Pangandaran district. Marine Tourism is the greatest potential given the Pangandaran owned most of Indonesia is territorial water. The title took by an interest in assess the researchers more about tourism management implemented by the local government Pangandaran district in 2012-2014. This research used descriptive methods with approach qualitative. The data are sources by observation, interview and document. Informants took by purposive technique. The result of this research shows that planning already well done, with three principal efforts in tourism management. Organizing have not well because of the human resource less, expertise less and specialized equipment that is owned by Dinas Pariwisata Perdagangan Koperasi and UMKM. In mobilization, communication between the government organizations running is not good. The control of tourism development is weak. In fact with the control exercised still have problems, such as less of human resources and cheating of funds. The conclusion of this research is environment of the Pangandaran tourism in management part of west coast Pangandaran not run well, as long as organizing, mobilizing and development this tourism. The government should be able to optimize this management of Pangandaran tourism in accordance with its intended purpose. Keywords: Management, Government, Tourism.
